Stranged Smell From Fan Replace pollen filter??? Rate Topic: -----

Recently i have noticed a strange smell coming from the A/C and interior fans.

If i had to describe it i would say it is a stale sort of smell.

Its not the first time i've noticed it and has always been there since i had the car but has become more noticable during this hot weather.

Would anyone have any ideas what could be causing this and also what i can do the remedy the situation? Could it be the pollen filter that needs replacing? :wacko:

I wonder how well this cleaner works, has anyone else here used this before?

I would have thought this would just stink the car out unless this is quite strong stuff thats capable of killing and stripping out the nasty bacterial buildups. :huh:

Other people have used it successfully. When you change the filter, it is also better to buy the upgraded version, which has carbon in it.

You can go to an aircon specialist to have it done. Here's an example:

hi all i used this halfords air con cleaner the other day waste of money still smells
