Duplicated from the original thread over on Project Puma:
http://www.projectpu...=19805&p=259065

IMPORTANT UPDATE:
I asked the supplier to provide a quote for 25, 30 and 40 units to see if there was any additional saving. Unfortunately, there is no further discount available, and any units from 21 onwards will be subject to a separate shipping charge as they can only send 20 at a time.

If anyone wants a set after we've hit the first 20, I will still order them for you if you want me to, but you will have to share the additional shipping cost of around £19.10 with however many people over 20 also want to participate.

To put it simply:
If you're in the first 20, you get the price quoted previously.
If you're buyer 21 or over, it'll be slightly more expensive as you'll have to take a hit on the additional shipping, unless someone from the first 20 drops out in which case you're quids in and you take their place.

Here's what they look like:

Apparently they're quite good for bodyshoppy people to work with when getting your arches repaired.

Is anyone else planning on doing their arches in the next few months? May be able to get some kind of discount - even if it's only on shipping (30EUR individually) for a few sets. - bulk discount prices below:

Here's how it will break down depending how many we buy:
1 set - £67.20 + £25.85 shipping = £93.05 per pair
5+ sets - £60.31 (10% off) each + £4.40 shipping = £64.71 per pair
10+ sets - £57.73 (14% off) each + £3.20 shipping = £60.93 per pair
20 sets exactly - £51.70 (23% off) each + £2.10 shipping = £53.80 per pair <--- we are currently here
Set 21 - £51.70 + £19.10 shipping = £70.80 per pair (unless 22, 23 or 24 people want a set in which case the shipping will be split amongst you)
Set 25+ - £51.70 each + £4.40 shipping = £56.10 per pair
Set 30+ - £51.70 each + £3.20 shipping = £54.90 per pair
40 sets exactly - £51.70 each + £2.10 shipping = £53.80 per pair

Note: the shipping quoted above is to get a pallet shipped to one location (i.e. my house) - there may be additional shipping cost to get it to you if we can't work out some other way of getting them to you either at shows/meets, other forum members, me dropping them off or you coming to collect if you're not too far away.

What timeframe we looking at?

My Puma needs new rear arches, so am interested. On the fence till I know the delivery time/payment method etc - reading through the thread now but working ATM so can't give it my full attention!

Would need postage up to north yorks though.

Put me on the fence for now - will probably go for it though.

Hi Steven - I will be looking to place the order end of March / beginning of April with the intention of getting them in your hands before May (supplier has quoted a 2-3week turnaround). You wouldn't want to be doing it until at least May / June anyway when it's a bit warmer and drier (i.e. after the 'April showers').

I don't know the dimensions / weight of a single unit at this stage but I use parcel2go to get the cheapest quote so I would expect to get change from a tenner.

I'll get my cap out for collections mid-March; payment will need to be made by bank transfer or PayPal in advance of delivery as I don't have the wrong side of a grand knocking about to pay the supplier upfront on everyone's behalf!

If anyone's concerned about handing over a not inconsiderable amount of cash up front, get in touch with Ian G (the site owner) or Eldoodarino (moderator) - either/both of whom should, hopefully, confirm I'm kosher! Posted Image

(or ask over at Project Puma where I'm a bit better known)

IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Since we amassed 17 confirmed buyers in a relatively short period of time, I asked the supplier to provide a quote for 25, 30 and 40 units.

There is no further discount available, and any units from 21 onwards will be subject to a separate shipping charge as they can only send 20 at a time.

The remaining 3 in our first batch of 20 will be on a first-come-first-served basis. If anyone wants a set after we've hit the first 20, I will still order them for you if you want me to, but you will have to share the additional shipping cost of around £19.10 with however many people over 20 also want to participate.

Just worked out what set 21 onwards will cost:

Set 21 - £51.70 + £19.10 shipping = £60.80 per pair (unless 22, 23 or 24 people want a set in which case the shipping will be split amongst you)
Set 25+ - £51.70 each + £4.40 shipping = £56.10 per pair
Set 30+ - £51.70 each + £3.20 shipping = £54.90 per pair
40 sets exactly - £51.70 each + £2.10 shipping = £53.80 per pair

@ Andy - sounds good, though there's no hurry; I'll get PMs out with payment details next week.

We only need one more taker to hit the 20-unit tier!
