I'm after something with good MPG and also a bit of power when you just fancy a bit of fun - like the Puma basically.
Now some things I've thought are as follows so if anyone has any experience of them or can point me in another direction I would be very greatful.
The other option is get rid of my Astra Rally Car and build up the Puma built I'd still be after a decent car for daily use.
My ideas:
Skoda Fabia VRS
Audi A3 TDI Sport
Fiesta or Focus ST
So there you have it, let fly with the comments and tell me what you reckon.
Cheers Hughsie

Ok....
Skoda Fabia VRS
Audi A3 TDI Sport
Fiesta or Focus ST
EH!!
Hmmm, not my first choice for good fuel consumption!!
I'd stay clear of the Audi, the Golf GT-Tdi is the same, but oh-so much better... ifs diesel your bag (40mpg-ish, and torque, torque, torque) then this is a goer for me.
Defo not fiesta ST - its pants (yes, it is...)

From that list I would choose the Focus ST.
For me though, the next car will be a mk4 Golf R32

So what other suggestions have people got?
Yes I've looked at the idea of a newer Puma but cant see why I should get another one. I fancy a change.
Other funny ideas I've had are:
Civic TypeR
S2000 - just for RWD fun at the roundabouts!!!
If I went for these I'd use the Puma still as a run around but also competition car asI'd leave the engine standard just put in saftey gear.
Come on folks enlighten me with your ideas!!!

S2000 is definitely worth a look, mazda rx-8 (if you can stand the running costs), Mini Cooper S GP (if you can jump the waiting list!!!), Lotus Elise (if you fit - I can't!!), second hand Porsche Boxster 3.2l, heck... even a second hand Suburu wrx sti or evo 6!
