Finally went for some Fox Evo's 17".
They look great and picked up GMAX lowered springs but cant decide if I should get new dampers or use the cash for something else. The other thing I was looking at next was a 57i.
Any ideas

If your changing the springs and have money spare then replace the dampers at the same time.
Now HiD ready. Are you ready for the switch over?

Have now got the new struts, some nice gmax ones. Not sure about the bumpstops though. The guide on the springs says shorten them by about 20mm but not sure if I can just get some new shorter ones. Also been looking at some notes about spacers, as yet I have had no rubbing but the car is still pre-lowering. Gonna wait till after the MOT and then go for it. If any one has any tips with spacers or bumpstops would realy appreciate. Hopefully as the wheels were ordered for my car the offset should be correct. Bloody hope so

I'd just cut the existing bumpstops down - I wouldn't buy new ones.

If your wheels come with an et36 then you will be OK. However if you do go down the spacer route you should be OK with up to 5mm with your existing wheel studs anything wider then you will need to change the studs for longer ones.

I'm not sure what the offset is, I got the wheels from R-Tec who ask all about the car so I hope they have supplied the right ones. I'll soon know when I lower it and have a look under the arche. Cheers for the advice.
As for the type they are Fox 6 Evo's. Have added a pic on the system. Let me know what you think so far.

Thanks.
Should be going down about 30mm when the bloody rain stops and I can get out to do it.
Will pop another pic on then.

Well I finally started doing the springs and what a bloody nightmare the struts are to get off. all the nuts come loose ok but trying to push the hub down far enough to clear the strut is a pain. took me 2 hours to do just 1. still its starting to look good.

Finally, Fox 6 Evo's with 30mm lowered gmax spring and gmax front struts, rear ones will have to wait for pay day.
