Hello my names Mr knowledge 20yr old and this is my story of acquring my new Puma.
Well I have been driving my mum's 1990 ford fiesta L 1.1 for the past 6-7 months after i passed my driving test (not a great car i know) So i thought i needed a upgrade for my own street cred, I was looking to get a vw polo like my brother, but i would just feel like a copycat

So i he told me to search for puma's -but i always thought, the price and insurance meant it was a no-no, 1112202173.gif yet after some browsing I realised this was the car for me and the 1.4's insurance wernt to bad. With its looks and the styling i found myself like a kid (i want that one) So did some research and found a stunning black 1.4 with 56,000 miles in peterborough. So drove down 90miles... with 10miles togo only to be called to be informed a nice gentleman had just purchased the puma. ranting2.gif I thought dream over! sad.gif

So i sadly went looking at the vw's again, but they didnt have the same excitement. When Eureikaaa! saw another 1999 Vreg 1.4i, with 58,000 miles in stunning black that i had to go and look at before it got snapped up again! So Up to Northampton and there she was......beauty personified! I had my brother there to calm me down so i didnt get carried away (it was hard not to). biggrin.gif

Well she came back home to me last week, and the drive back down the M1 was a dream.......I'm as happy as larry....so i thought i'd let everyone know my sad story. Yea and lots of help and useful tips from this site...so thanx

Me and my puma are going to be v. happy together. roflmao.gif

come up and see me...make me smile

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand - strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO -What a Ride!:D

I've just picked up mine this week. Haven't had a chance for a long drive yet, just the 3 miles to that station and back so far. Can't wait for tomorrow to check it out in the day light again!

I remember my search for a 1.4, 2 weeks it took as every one that came up for sale was either very far away, looked a bit dodgy or sold before I even called about it. Ended up going from Newcastle to Glasgow to pick up my black 1.4, so happy with it I'm hoping to swap it for a 1.7 next year biggrin.gif
