Anyone know why I get a grinding sound from the offside wheel when the front wheels are spinning? doesn't seem to matter how much lock I put on or if straight I get it.

Traction Control tries to keep things in hands and ABS is working to prevent brakes to lock (TC uses brakes to control the spinning of the wheels...). I have found that same knocking-grinding noise while driving here up north (Finland).
Awful sound, but good indicator that you should lighten your foot on the pedals.

Me too, but weirdly my ABS traction control lights are on again which I would have thought would mean it wouldnt work? I still get the reassuring ABS self-test at 15mph after startup though...?

Is there anyway to disable traction control?
Unplug the fuse? Or is there such a thing as TC-fuse.
